Woodson, 63, departing from the New York Knicks inked a six-year contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. This is his first job at the NCAA level after 25 years in the NBA.
He played for the Hoosiers between 1976 and 1980. After being selected by the Knicks with the 12th overall pick of the 1980 NBA draft, he competed in 786 NBA games between six teams.
