Bogdan Bogdanovic connected eight triples highlighting the Atlanta Hawks winning effort, 105-101, against the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center Sunday.
The Serbian sharpshooter reset his season-best at 32 points, which was a game-high as well. Fellow European starter, Clint Capela posted a 20-point, 15-rebound double-double. Italian Danilo Gallinari was held out with a foot injury.
Brad Wanamaker, back in 2017 joining Fenerbahce following Bogdanovic’s departure, with two straight layups midway in the fourth quarter generated his side’s only double-digit lead. The American guard ended up with 13 points off the bench. Miles Bridges had 23 points for the Hornets, including a crazy poster dunk. P.J. Washington exited in the third quarter with a right ankle injury.
The winning side improved to 29-25 sending the hosts to 27-25.
