Ricky Rubio scored a season-high 26 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out six assists as the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Golden State Warriors 126 – 114 to capture their fourth straight win.
It was Rubio’s third game in 2020-21 with 20+ points. The Spanish guard shot 7-13 from the field, including 5-8 3-pointers.
Juancho Hernangomez added nine points and seven rebounds for the Timberwolves.
Nikola Jokic wasn’t as impressive as usual but still delivered with 19 points on 8-13 shots plus 11 rebounds in the 121 – 111 win of the Denver Nuggets over the Toronto Raptors.
Vlatko Cankar scored three points points in three minutes for the Nuggets.
Willy Hernangomez posted 13 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth double-double this month to help the New Orleans Pelicans defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder 109 – 95.
The struggling Thunder suffered their 15th loss in the last 16 games. Theo Maledon had 16 points, Svi Mykhailiuk scored 12 while Aleksej Pokusevski finished with eight points and nine rebounds in an off shooting night (3-16).
A couple of hours after former team Real Madrid tied the EuroLeague playoff series vs. Anadolu Efes 2-2, Gabriel Deck made his NBA debut with two points (1-5 shots), two rebounds and two assists, including this pretty thing.
