Los Angeles Lakers guard Dennis Schroder will miss an “extended period of games” because of the league’s health and safety protocols, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.
According to the same report, the Lakers are preparing to play without Schroder for 10 to 14 days.
Schroder missed L.A.’s 121-114 loss to the Toronto Raptors because of the protocols.
It was the second COVID-19-related absence for the Lakers point guard. He missed four games in February because of exposure found by contact tracing.
Meanwhile, LeBron James needs to rest his right ankle, an injury which was aggravated against Toronto, and he will miss the game against the Denver Nuggets.
