Trae Young made his NBA playoffs debut at 22 on Sunday night and it was a special one. Young run to the lane with 0.9 seconds left to give the Atlanta Hawks a 107-105 victory, as both teams returned to the playoffs this season.

“I’ve always looked at it that I’m doing something right if I’m affecting them with my play that much that they hate me that much. I’m obviously doing something right and just got to let my play do the talking”, he said after his game-winner silenced nearly 15.000 Knicks fans in attendance.

As if his heroics weren’t enough, Young joined an elite club of players including Derrick Rose, Chris Paul and LeBron James as the only players in NBA history with 30 points and 10 assists in their playoff debut (via Marc Spears/Elias).

“He’s small but he’s a tough kid and he’s not afraid,” Hawks coach Nate McMillan said after the win.

Game 2 of the series tips off Wednesday, May 26 (7:30 ET).
