Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell is listed as available for Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday (26/5). The two-time All-Star guard will be making his playoffs debut and play his first game since April 16.
Mitchell was out with an ankle sprain he suffered in a win over the Indiana Pacers. Following his recovery, was expected to be able to return in Game 1 vs. the Grizzlies but he was left out of the active roster for the match. The Jazz lost to 112 – 109.
Jazz center Rudy Gobert said “Hopefully, he’s good for next game. That’s all I’m worried about,” while referring to Mitchell being ruled out of Game 1.
Before his injury, Mitchell was averaging 26.4 points, 5.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds.
