Both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Denver Nuggets stepped it up in Game 2 against the Miami Heat and the Portland Trail Blazers respectively, getting convincing home wins.
Bucks dominated the first quarter 46-20 and broke the opponent early, with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way. The Greek Freak finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists.
Bryn Forbes helped him out with 22 while Khris Middleton added 17 points. Jrue Holiday had 11 points, 15 assists, and seven rebounds for all-around performance.
Dewayne Dedmon scored 19 for Miami in addition to Goran Dragic’s 18 and Bam Adebayo’s 16 points. Dedmon also grabbed nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets logged a 128-109 win as they put max effort in stopping Damian Lillard who, despite the challenge, still dropped 42 points and ten assists.
Nikola Jokic responded for the Nuggets with 38 points, eight boards, and five assists while Michael Porter Jr scored 18 and Paul Milsap 15 points.
Facu Campazzo scored 12 points and dished six assists. Lillard’s help came from CJ McCollum who scored 21 and Norman Powell who scored 15 points.
