The Milwaukee Bucks were up by 21 points in Game 3 against the Brooklyn Nets, found themselves trailing down the stretch and then came back on top again to win 86 – 83 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals to capture their first victory in the series.
Kevin Durant scored consecutive points, including the go-ahead 3-pointers for the 80 – 83 with 1:23 left. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday made back-to-back layups and the with the score 86 – 83 Durant missed in his game-tying attempt.
Middleton finished with 35 points after combining for 30 in the first two matches of the series. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 33 points plus 14 rebounds.
Durant scored 30 on 11-28 shots while adding 11 rebounds plus five assists to his statline.
