The legend of Trae Young is just growing.

Trae Young scored 39 points and dished out seven assists as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 109 – 106 after coming back from down 26 points in Game 5. Atlanta is now up 3-2 and one win away from making the Eastern Conference finals.

The Sixers led 44 – 70 early in the second half and were up 69 – 87 at the end of the third quarter. The Hawks outscored their opponents 40 – 19 in the last period with Young hitting the go-ahead free throws for the 105 – 104 after a foul on a 3-point shot.

Danilo Gallinari (16 points) drained a jumper and Young added two more free throws for the 109 – 104 with 8:04 seconds to play that capped a 15 – 0 run for the Hawks in the last four minutes.

Joel Embiid finished with 37 points plus 13 rebounds and five assists while Seth Curry had 36 points and seven rebounds. They were the only Sixers players to score a field goal after the halftime break.
