The Atlanta Hawks seemed to be losing their grip on the Eastern Conference Finals series after going down 2-1 and losing Trae Young to injury, however, the team showed great character to fight back pull off a 110-88 win in Game 4.

Milwaukee losing Giannis to a knee injury early in the second half went into their favor too but it doesn’t take away anything from Atlanta’s win as the squad was also bating the Bucks with the Greek Freak on the floor in the first half.

With just over seven minutes remaining in the third quarter, Antetokounmpo jumped up to contest an alley-oop from John Collins to Clint Capela. The two-time MVP landed awkwardly on his left leg, his knee buckling.

Lou Williams stepped in for Atlanta in Young’s absence and the veteran was phenomenal early on boost starting the Hawks and eventually finishing with game-high 21 points. Bogdan Bogdanovic was right behind with 20 points, getting out of the recent shooting slump just in time.

“I live for these moments, man, and I really appreciate every minute on the floor. I know it’s hard to get to this level of the basketball game. It’s hard to get to the playoffs. It’s hard to get to the second round. It’s hard to get to the Finals. At this point, everything is hard. And it’s mental. All of it is mental, and you have to fight through it, and it’s another level of experience. I just live for that, man. I enjoy every single moment, and I know — I don’t think about my game so much, just finding a way that we can win. I know my game will come eventually. As long as we play good as a team … we have a lot of talent that any other guy can step up every other night,” Bogdanovic said.

For the Bucks, who are waiting for further testing on Giannis’s knee, Jrue Holiday scored 19 and Khris Middleton 16 points. Giannis had 14 before exiting the game.
