Israeli guard Yam Madar is expected to be joining the Boston Celtics for the NBA Summer League, per Moshe Barda. He’s now moving to Boston for workouts with the team.
Madar, 20, was selected by the Celtics with the 47th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. He then went on to have a highly productive season in the Israeli Winner League, averaging 17.1 points (shooting 41.0 percent on 3-pointers), 5.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 33.2 minutes.
