The Brooklyn Nets are bringing back forward Blake Griffin with a one-year contract extension, per reports by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
A six-time All-Star, 32-year-old Griffin averaged 11 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3 assists in 46 games with the Nets and Detroit Pistons in the 2020-21 season. He first joined the Nets on a short-term deal back in March after the Pistons bought out his contract and soon gained an important role on the roster.
He is returning to the Nets alongside a star line-up that includes stars Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving.
