After medical consultation, LaMarcus Aldridge is considering a return to the NBA and is expected to talk with teams within the next weeks, per ESPN.
Aldridge, 36, had reached a buyout agreement with the San Antonio Spurs and signed with the Brooklyn Nets before retiring last April due to health concerns. He was sidelined by an irregular heartbeat.
The seven-time All-Star has not yet made a final decision on returning to action.
He had joined the Spurs before the 2015-16 season and after nine seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. His brief run with the Nets generated five games with 12.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per appearance.
