Alperen Sengun posted a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double for the Houston Rockets in the win, 84-76, over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
The Turkish big and both sides tipped off their run in the Las Vegas Summer League. Sengun was all over the place contributing on both ends in a great introduction to the NBA. Besides the 15 points and 15 rebounds, he rejected four shots and also dished out three assists in just over 27 minutes.
Sengun, 19, was selected with the 16th overall pick of the recent NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder and was traded to the Rockets. He inked his rookie contract on Saturday.
