Giannis Antetokounmpo has become a minority owner of the Milwaukee Brewers, the team announced Friday confirming earlier reports by Jeff Passan of ESPN and MLB insider Jon Heyman.
Antetokounmpo, 26, will be able to reach an even higher level of loyalty to Milwaukee by purchasing a minority stake of the city’s professional baseball team.
A few weeks back, the Greek Freak led the Bucks to their first NBA championship since 1971. He was named Finals MVP.
Antetokounmpo introduced himself to Milwaukee in 2013 after being selected 15th overall in the draft. A lasting relationship marked by a couple of contract extensions with the Bucks furthers to the Brewers.
