Ben Simmons has reportedly informed the management of the Philadelphia 76ers that he wants out of the team.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Simmons met with the top brass (co-managing partner Josh Haris, president Daryl Morey and general manager Elton Brand) of the Sixers and head coach Doc Rivers and told them that doesn’t want to be on the team anymore.
Simmons heard the three executives and Rivers telling him that they expect him to be a part of the training camp that begins on September 28 but the player doesn’t plan to be there.
Earlier this summer, it was reported that the Sixers had been reported to be talking to other teams about a trade involving Simmons.
