Kevin Durant and James Harden went to great lengths for a practice session at Mykonos and will keep on training together during their stay in Greece.
The Brooklyn Nets superstars are on vacation at the Greek island, famous for attracting celebrities among many tourists every summer. This year’s visit was not the first for Durant nor Harden but was paired with a practice at the home court of the local team, as reported by Mykonos Post.
Their manager submitted a request to facility officials to open the gym in order for Durant and Harden to practice together. The gym was closed, but both were granted entrance and indeed worked out remaining in touch with basketball during their pleasurable vacations at Mykonos. They are expected to be back for more practices through the next few days as well.
An excellent opportunity to stay in shape as the Nets preseason is closing in fast. The 2021 training camp is planned to being September 28, while the Nets are scheduled to face the Los Angeles Lakers on October 3, Milwaukee Bucks on October 8, Philadelphia 76ers on October 11, and Minnesota Timberwolves on October 14 in preseason fixtures.
Durant and Harden were accompanied by Mayor Konstantinos Koukas and AE Mykonos team president Alexandros Koukas. They even took souvenir photos at the gym.
NBA players visiting the Greek island this summer was also expanded to Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks franchise cornerstone.
