Matt Thomas has been weighing his options between the NBA and Europe, and the sharpshooter will get a shot at the NBA after signing with the Chicago Bulls, according to Encestando.
The deal doesn’t guarantee him a spot for the season and is valid for the training camp only. There have been numerous teams across Europe interested in him, especially so CSKA and his former club Valencia with which he won the 2019 EuroCup. He was shooting career-best 48% from deep that season.
Thomas spent the past two seasons playing for the Toronto Raptors and the Utah Jazz. He finished the season with the Jazz, averaging 3.6 points over 19 games with seven minutes of playing time.
