The Bucks have requested waivers on guard Elijah Bryant, as the team announced.
Bryant appeared in four preseason games with the Bucks and averaged 10.8 points in 19.9 minutes per game.
He was part of the roster that won the 2021 NBA championship title, having limited contribution. He was under contract for the 2020-21 season with Maccabi Tel Aviv but the Bucks decided to pay a buy out and sign him for the NBA playoffs.
He was waived in September and then signed a training camp deal with Milwaukee. Ultimately the Bucks decided to part ways with him.
Bryant remains a well-respected player in Europe and a return to EuroLeague can’t be excluded.
