The 2021-22 NBA season will tip off next week and the teams are making the final cuts post training camp when it comes to the rosters. That means plenty of names will be waived and some of them have been of particular interest to the European market as they’ve already played there.
Such is the case for Nik Stauskas, Emanuel Terry, and Ishamil Wainright who got waived by their respective teams – Nuggets, Kings, Raptors.
Stauskas spent the 2019-20 season with Baskonia, averaging nine points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 20 minutes of playing time over 22 games.
Terry had stints with Teksut Bandirma and Hapoel Jerusalem in the Basketball Champions League two years ago, while last season, he played 16 games for Crvena Zvezda. In EuroLeague, he averaged 5.5 points and 4.4 rebounds.
Wainright played for Nurnberg and Vechta in Germany while he was a part of Strasbourg last season. He logged 10.2 points, four rebounds, and 1.4 assists in BCL, helping the French team reach fourth place.
