Further testings on Nikola Jokic’s right knee showed no structural damage, according to Mike Stinger of the Denver Post.
While that may be the case, it’s still likely that Jokic will sit out the Nuggets’ upcoming game against the Mavericks, as the team remains to be careful with injuries.
Jokic suffered a right knee contusion after colliding with Rudy Gobert in the duel against the Utah Jazz. He posted 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and made 8 of 9 shots in the 15 minutes he spent on the court that night.
He’s been averaging 27.7 points, 16.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists so far this season.
