Steph Curry has been on another level so far this season and not even the hip contusion he suffered earlier in the week could stop him from dropping a 40-point bomb on the Cleveland Cavaliers, as the Golden State Warriors won 104-89 on the road and improved to a league-best 13-2 record.

Curry shot 9-16 from the three-point territory while also adding six assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Nemanja Bjelica was the second scorer behind Curry for the Warriors with 14 points.

For Cleveland, Darius Garland scored 25 while Ricky Rubio had ten points.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic wasn’t as successful. He did ball out with 30 points, ten boards, and seven assists but it wasn’t enough against Philadephia (103-89) despite Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons still being sidelined.

Tyrese Maxey led the way for the victors with 22 points while Seth Curry scored 20.

The Miami Heat got the better of the Washington Wizards (112-97) with Jimmy Butler scoring 32 points while Bam Adebayo followed with 20 points, nine boards.

On the opposing side, Bradley Beal scored 30 and Kyle Kuzma 19 points.  Kuzma also added 13 boards, seven assists. Deni Avdija scored seven points.

Memphis won 120-108 against the LA Clippers thanks to the 28-point display by Ja Morant. Paul George had 28 for the losing side with Ivica Zubac scoring 13 and Isaiah Hartenstein adding 11 points.

Rudy Gobert had another double-double performance with 14 points, 11 rebounds in Utah’s win over Toronto. Bojan Bogdanovic slowed down after the recent outburst, scoring “just” seven points. Rudy Gay scored 20 as he’s returning to his past form following an injury.
