Atlanta Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic will miss at least two weeks of action due to an ankle sprain, the team announced Sunday. His condition will be re-evaluated in that timeframe to determine when he will be able to return to action.
Bogdanovic, who is currently averaging 11.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in his second campaign with the Hawks, left Saturday’s contest against the New York Knicks in the second quarter after landing on his leg and left the court in obvious pain.
The Hawks are also expected to miss forward Cam Reddish, who was also injured in the game against the Knicks. Reddish suffered a left-hand wrist sprain and had to leave the game.
“You hate to see that. We’re hoping that MRIs come out negative and these guys can get back to the floor soon… They want to take a closer look with both injuries”, said Hawks head coach Nate MacMillan to reporters after the game.
