Nikola Jokic tried to do it all for the Denver Nuggets, who’ve been having injury troubles, but it his triple-double wasn’t enough in the 123-111 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
Jokic posted 22 points, 13 boards, ten assists while Aaron Gordon helped with 25 points. Facundo Campazzo scored 12.
For the Spurs, Derrick White scored 23 and Lonnie Walker 21 points while Dejonte Murray had 20 points, nine assists, eight boards.
Meanwhile, Utah took down Philadelphia convincingly with 118-96 on the scoreboard led by Donovan Mitchell with 22 points and six assists.
Rudy Gobert put on a big double-double with 21 rebounds and 17 points while Bojan Bogdanovic followed with 14 points.
For Philly, Joel Embiid logged 19 points, nine boards while Seth Curry had 18 points. Furkan Korkmaz scored four.
Lastly, after the loss to Dallas, Memphis got right back to winning (six out of last seven) and they’ve done it against the LA Lakers at that with 108-95.
Despite Ja Morant being sidelined with injury, the Grizzlies have not slowed down led by Jaren Jackson with 25 points and Desmond Bane with 23. Killian Tillie scored five.
For the struggling Lakers, Anthony Davis scored 22 while LeBron James had a triple-double with 20 points, 11 assists, and ten rebounds.
