Giannis Antetokounmpo commended Houston Rockets rookie center Alperen Sengun for the way he performs and especially for playing the game at his own pace. Sengun scored an NBA career-high 15 points on 6-8 shots in 16 minutes during the Rockets‘ 123-114 loss to the Bucks.
“He’s a great player,” Antetokounmpo said. “He takes his time. Nothing can speed him up. He might be slow down there in the post but he’s effective. He’s playing well. He’s playing with a lot of energy. He’s coming off the bench and gives energy to his teammates. He rebounds the ball well, he’s being aggressive, he’s setting good screens. I think the sky is the limit for him.”
I asked Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo about Rockets rookie Alperen Sengun:

Antetokounmpo was the only Bucks player who managed to contain Sengun after the 19-year-old big man was overcoming everything that the Bucks were throwing at him. DeMarcus Cousins and Bobby Portis were two Milwaukee players that tried to stop the young player.
Sengun was pulled to the bench with 9:21 minutes remaining and the Rockets up 98 – 96. The Bucks proceeded to make a 9 – 3 run and retained a lead for the rest of the game.
Before the game vs. the Bucks, the Rockets had a 7 -0 winning streak. Sengun
