The Brooklyn Nets announced Monday that forward Paul Millsap has entered NBA’s Health and Safety protocols.
There’s no timeline of Millsap’s return, though if he tested positive for COVID-19, he could miss several games. Once players enter the league’s protocols, they must quarantine for 10 days or until they turn in two negative PCR tests within a 24-hour window.
Millsap was also out against Sunday’s contest against the Detroit Pistons due to personal reasons. So far in the 2021-22 campaign, he is averaging a career-low 11.2 minutes across 21 games.
It should be noted that all the Nets but Kyrie Irving have been vaccinated. The NBA’s current vaccination rate is 97%.
Also on Monday, the NBA announced the cancellation of the Chicago Bulls’ next two games after ten players have entered the protocols.
