Kevin Durant leads 8-man Nets to overtime win over Raptors

The Brooklyn Nets sidelined seven players due to COVID-19 but didn’t stop them from getting a 131-129 overtime win against the Toronto Raptors.

Kevin Durant stepped up big time with a triple-double of 34 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists while Patty Mills helped out with 30 points. Kessler Edwards logged 17 points, ten rebounds.

Toronto’s squad was ready to play too with four players scoring over 20 points. Fred VanVleet led the way with 31 points (nine assists) while Pascal Siakam and Garry Trent Jr had 25 each. Scottie Barns scored 23 while adding 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Portland lost its seventh game in a row as the Phoenix Suns for a close 111-107 overtime win on the road.

DeAndre Ayton posted 28 points, 13 boards while Chris Paul had 24 points, 14 assists, eight rebounds. Cameron Payne scored 17.

For the Blazers, Damian Lillard had 31 points and ten assists while Norman Powell scored 23 and Jusuf NUrkic 17 points. Nurkic also grabbed 13 boards.

In the third game of the night, Steph Curry entered history as the NBA’s all-time three-point king and the Golden State Warriors got a 105-96 road win against the New York Knicks.

Curry finished the game with 22 points while Jordan Poole added 19 and Andrew Wiggins 12 points. Nemanja Bjelica added 14 points, four rebounds, four assists.

For the Knicks, Julius Randle scored 31 and Derrick Rose 15 points.
