The Dallas Mavericks won’t be keeping guard Isaiah Thomas upon the expiration of his 10-day contract, according to Marc Stein. The two-time All-Star will become a free agent.
Thomas didn’t have a chance to actually show the Mavericks what he can deliver on the court since he managed to play just one game with the team before he entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols. In his sole appearance with the Dallas jersey, he had six points (3-8 shots) and four assists over 13 minutes in a 94 – 95 loss to the Sacramento Kings.
Before joining the Mavericks, Thomas also had a 10-day stint with the Los Angeles Lakers.
