Atlanta Hawks wing Cam Reddish is moving to the New York Knicks. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks are getting Reddish from the Hawks while the latter will be receiving Kevin Knox, a 2022 first-round pick (via the Charlotte Hornets), Solomon Hill plus a second-round pick of 2025.

Reddish, 22, has been having the most productive run of his NBA career so far. He has been averaging a career-high 11.9 points, while shooting the ball better than ever before in his previous two seasons in the league with 40 percent on field goals and 38 percent on 3-pointers.

On 23/12, Reddish scored a career-high 34 points on 6-10 3-pointers in a loss to the Orlando Magic and then on 28/12, he dropped 33 points on 8-12 triples in a defeat to the Chicago Bulls. It’s this kind of potential that the Knicks will want to take advantage of.

The Knicks will be welcoming the possibly major scoring boost that Reddish can offer them and especially his shooting that can help their struggling offense. New York has the fourth-worst scoring production among NBA teams with 104.3 points per game, while ranking 21st overall in offensive rating.

After 42 games, the Knicks are tied with the Boston Celtics at 21 – 21 and the 1oth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
