The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to acquire Caris LeVert from the Indiana Pacers ahead of the trade deadline, per Joe Vardon.
The Cavaliers have stepped up their efforts to acquire LeVert from the Pacers and with the teams clashing each other on February 6th, the chance of a potential deal has been increasing.
The Cavs have been looking for additional guard depth and offense-creators since losing Ricky Rubio and Collin Sexton to long-term injuries. Cleveland has been shopping Rubio’s expiring $17.8 million contract, which is enough to bring in LeVert.
LeVert has averaged 18.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. The Pacers are reportedly looking for a first-round pick and a young player in exchange for LeVert.
