The Toronto Raptors are trading Goran Dragic to the San Antonio Spurs for Thad Young, according to Shams Charania.
Toronto also got Drew Eubanks and a 2022 Pistons second-rounder. Meanwhile, San Antonio got a Toronto 2022 first-rounder (protected 1-14, protected 1-13 in 2023, turning into future seconds).
The Raptors were actively trying to find a deal in order to move Goran Dragic and some of the potential destinations included the Indiana Pacers, the Atlanta Hawks, as well as the Dallas Mavericks.
However, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Spurs are expected to negotiate a contract buyout with Dragic. Among the teams expected to be interested once he becomes a free agent are Mavericks, Bucks, Bulls, Clippers.
