The LA Lakers have been struggling for a while now but the same can’t be said for LeBron James’ individual displays. And the same depicts the last night’s loss to the Golden State Warriors with 117-115 on the scoreboard.
The splash brothers combined for 57 points and took over in the fourth quarter to give Golden State the win and somewhat ruin a big night for LeBron (26 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists) who passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the all-time scoring list.
LeBron banked in a three-pointer in the third quarter with which he passed Abdul-Jabbar’s 44,149 points and he did it in fewer games. That said, Kareem still holds the official first place on the list which doesn’t include the points scored in the playoffs.
He holds it with 38,387 regular-season points while LeBron is trailing behind by 1,900. It would take the Lakers star 65 games to reach the milestone if he continues averaging 29 points.
