Jayson Tatum was red-hot with 38 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Boston Celtics to a 105-95 victory against the Atlanta Hawks Sunday.
The Celtics moved up with their eighth consecutive victory, improving to a 33-25 record in the Eastern Conference to remain in playoffs contention.
Besides Tatum, Jaylen Brown added up 17 points and Robert Williams picked up a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Celtics.
Hawks shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic scored a season-high of 26 points and 6 rebounds in 38 minutes while coming from the bench, though his efforts fell short for the visitors that were blown away in the second half.
Trae Young led the Hawks with 30 points and 10 rebounds, Clint Capela picked up 8 points and 17 rebounds and Danilo Gallinari contributed 5 points as a starter.
The Hawks have now lost their second game in a row, falling to a 26-30 record and the 10th place of the Eastern Conference standings.
In the only other game of the night, Minnesota beat Indiana 129-110 with Anthony Edwards scoring 37 points. The Timberwolves have a solid 30-27 record, good enough for the 7th spot in the West.
Georgian big man Goga Bitadze had seven points, three rebounds and three assists for the Pacers who dropped at 19-39.
