James Harden seems to have already adjusted to the Sixers in just his second game with the team after his trade and flirted with triple-double figures in Philadelphia’s 125-109 win over the New York Knicks on the road.
Harden posted 29 points and picked up 16 assists, 9 rebounds as the Sixers cruised to their third straight win.
Joel Embiid led all scorers of the game with 37 points for the Sixers and Tyrese Maxey joined the list of scorers in double digits with 21 points, 7 rebounds.
Despite showing signs of strength in the third quarter, the Knicks couldn’t complete the comeback in the end, dropping their fifth game in a row.
Evan Fournier scored 24 points on 6-of-11 from the three-point line for the hosts, while RJ Barrett also picked up 24 points and Immanuel Quickley tapped 21 points, 5 rebounds while coming from the bench
