Oklahoma City Thunder have added Georgios Kalaitzakis with a 10-day hardship deal, meaning that the Greek player will finish the season with the team.
The Thunder are missing about half their roster due to injuries — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Luguentz Dort, Darius Bazley, Derrick Favors, Ty Jerome, and Mike Muscala have all been ruled out for the season.
Kenrich Williams and Tre Mann might return but Kalaitzakis is joining the squad as a depth piece to help Oklahoma finish the regular season.
Kalaitzakis, 23, was the 60th overall pick in the 2021 draft. He played 31 games in G League with the Oklahoma City Blue, averaging 10.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in under 20 minutes.
