Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic will be able to join the Dallas Mavericks when they host the San Antonio Spurs for the regular-season finale after the NBA rescinded his 16th technical foul which would lead to a one-game suspension. It’s the second time this season that the league revokes a tech on the All-Star guard.

Doncic received his recent tech call at the end of the first quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, after complaining to the officials that there was no foul called when he got hit on the shoulder and knocked down by Elijah Hughes in his attempt to shoot from mid-court.

“He started to complain to each of the officials. When I was walking toward the table, he was 15 feet in the backcourt still complaining, so he got a technical for continuously complaining,” crew chief Tony Brothers told reporters after calling the tech on the Slovenian player Friday.

The Mavs have already locked their playoffs spot, but having Doncic on board for the upcoming game against the Spurs bolsters their chances to improve to the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.
