The Boston Celtics won Game 6 against the Milwaukee Bucks in a highly entertaining duel between Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo, however, the night won’t be remembered (just) for that.
In an unfortunate set of events, three people were shot in Milwaukee outside Fiserv Forum near the end of the game, as the fans were leaving the arena. Needless to say, it created huge panic among the crowd of people as the police tried to control the area.
Two people were taken to a hospital, a 30-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, while the third person drove to a hospital. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
Police arrested a 29-year-old man and some witnesses said that they saw a fight outside a bar following the basketball game.
Videos shared on social media showed hundreds of people running out of the Deer District fan area shortly after the game ended. Earlier in the evening, the Bucks said 11,000 people were at the Deer District.
