NBA veteran guard Rajon Rondo is accused by his former partner and mother of his two kids that he pulled a gun on her and threatened to kill her, according to TMZ. The player hasn’t been arrested or named a suspect of anything.
TMZ reports that Ashley Bachelor filed for an emergency protective order for her and her two kids, a boy and a girl, following a heated altercation she says she had with Rondo last week.
Bachelor claims that Rondo and their son Pierre were playing video games and the player got angry after she asked their kid to “separate laundry.” Rondo then began breaking things and telling her “you’re dead” and then left the house, only to return with a gun in hand, according to Bachelor.
When Rondo came back he began yelling at Bachelor to “Go get my f–king son.” Fearful of what her ex may do, she says that he brought Pierre to Rondo and then he brought him outside where he screamed at him, asking him why he’s scared of his dad.
Bachelor says that then Rondo asked for his daughter to also come outside while she was unable to do anything because she was terrified of any violent reaction by Rondo. In the end, the whole situation was defused when Rondo’s parents arrived and he left the house.
Per TMZ, this is what Ashley wrote when she filed for the emergency protective order: “I am extremely fearful for my safety and for the safety of my children. Rajon has a history of volatile, erratic, explosive behavior. He is verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive. He physically hits our son and calls him names like ‘p–y’ and accuses him of acting like a ‘bitch.'”
