The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has signed center Mirza Begic who will have the chance to fight for a roster spot.
After the injuries of Omer Asik and Alexis Ajinca, the Slovenian center may have a chance to stay in the roster of the NBA team, which now includes 20 players. Begic has been a member of Real Madrid and Olympiacos, having played in Lithuania, Italy, Greece, Spain and of course Slovenia.
