After signing a European veteran in Mirza Begic, the New Orleans Pelicans are betting on an other player who had a career in Europe. As the Times – Picayune revealed Bo McCalebb was near a deal with the NBA team and he finally signed it.
A former Euroleague stand out with Partizan and Siena, McCalebb is also a former university of New Orleans star where he finished his career at 2008 as the Sun Belt’s all-time leading scorer. His 2,679 career points rank 24th all-time in NCAA history.
McCalebb played last season for Bayern Munich, where he signed in November 2014 and he was also a member of Fenerbahce.
