The San Antonio Spurs will be waiving forward Danilo Gallinari according to ESPNs’ Adrian Wojnarowski. The Italian player is becoming a free agent just after he got traded to the Spurs from the Atlanta Hawks.
Gallinari, 33, will explore the options he has in the free agency market. Last season, he has 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 25.3 minutes over 66 regular-season games while posting 10.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 22.3 minutes over five matches in the playoffs.
In 13 years in the NBA (he missed 2013-2014 due to an ACL injury), Gallinari has played for such teams as the New York Knick, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder, before moving to the Hawks in 2020.
