A few months after his ACL injury, Ricky Rubio was traded to the Indiana Pacers in order to get Caris LeVert to Cleveland but the Cavaliers are ready to bring back the Spanish guard, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
This is not a surprise, since Cavs‘ interest was already well documented, On the other hand, this is totally deserving for Rubio who had a prominent role in the Cavaliers’ revamped version but was injured back in December.
Before getting hurt, Rubio was putting on one of the best stretches in his NBA career with 13.1 points, 6.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.4 steal over 34 appearances.
His veteran presence and basketball IQ might be the only piece missing for the Cavs in order to become again contenders in the East.
