Olympiacos shooting guard Tyler Dorsey traveled to the United States and had a private workout for the Dallas Mavericks Sunday, as reported by Yahoo Sports’ Krysten Peek.
Dorsey, 26, finished the season with a Greek Basket League championship and a EuroLeague Final Four presence with Olympiacos and has drawn the attention of several clubs. As prior reported by Eurohoops, Dorsey has to weigh his options between extending with the Greek side or signing a deal with Fenerbahce Beko in Turkey.
However, the Greek/American guard is also focusing on possible NBA opportunities following a solid season with the Reds. Dorsey averaged 11.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists across 24 Greek League games and posted career-best averages of 12.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 38 EuroLeague contests.
While he’s examining his options for next season, he is expected to join the Greek national team this summer for the August FIBA World Cup qualifiers window and the upcoming EuroBasket.
