Santi Aldama starred for the Memphis Grizzlies in the low-scoring affair versus the Minnesota Timberwolves resulting in the 70-63 victory in Las Vegas’ Cox Pavilion Sunday.

The Spanish forward/center registered a couple of game-highs packing 22 points and six steals extending his run in the 2022 NBA2K23 Summer League. He made 11/22 from the field in about 29 minutes and recorded eight rebounds, two blocks, and one assist. Selected 50th overall in the 2022 NBA draft, Italian guard Matteo Spagnolo went for five points, four rebounds, and two steals in 22 minutes for the losing side.

Portuguese Neemias Queta dropped 12 points, seven rebounds, five blocks, one assist, and one steal helping the Sacramento Kings to the win, 103-96, against the Indiana Pacers. The Brooklyn Nets beating the Philadelphia 76ers, 91-84, included French small forward Yves Pons packing two points and three rebounds, while Serbian Filip Petrusev had two points, three assists, two steals, and one rebound for the Sixers.

Latvian Arturs Zagars chipped in two points as the Washington Wizards rolled the Phoenix Suns, 97-72. French Olivier Sarr banked in four points, four rebounds, and two blocks, and Belgian Vrenz Bleijenbergh had one rebound and one assist for the Suns. Among other players featured at Thomas & Mack Center were familiar faces Jehyve Floyd, Tyson Carter, and Pierria Henry.

Montenegrin big man Marko Simonovic produced one point, seven rebounds, and two assists as the Chicago Bulls lost, 101-69, to the New York Knicks. He is preparing for his second season in the NBA after being selected with the 44th overall pick of the 2020 draft.

Making his long-awaited return to action, James Wiseman lasted nearly 20 minutes and put up 11 points for the Golden State Warriors in the win, 86-85, versus the San Antonio Spurs.
