An impressive scoring showing by Deividas Sirvydis led the New Orleans Pelicans past the Washington Wizards, 106-88, in Thomas & Mack Center Wednesday. Highlighting the latest action in the 2022 NBA2K23 Summer League in Las Vegas, the Lithuanian swingman poured a game-high 25 points banking in 9/17 field goals to go along with five rebounds, two steals, one block, and one assist. Latvian Arturs Zagars registered two assists and one steal for the Wizards.
Georgian Sandro Mamukelashvili posted an 18-point, 15-rebound double-double plus four assists and two blocks pushing the Milwaukee Bucks to the 87-75 victory versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. Teammate Luca Vildoza did not score but fielded two blocks and one rebound. For the losing side, Italian Matteo Spagnolo ended up with four points and one assist in 12 minutes.
The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Sacramento Kings, 86-80, and featured French Ousmane Dieng chipping in 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one block. Czech Vit Krejci had five points and two rebounds. On the losing end, Portuguese Neemias Queta was held to one point and one rebound but rejected four shots.
Latvian Rodions Kurucs went for four points, seven rebounds, two assists, and one block as the Toronto Raptors edged the Utah Jazz, 80-74, in Cox Pavilion. Leandro Bolmaro’s 11 points fell short of the win as the eight rebounds and one steal by Serbian teammate Borisa Simanic.
Serbian Filip Petrusev logged four points, two rebounds, and one block in eight minutes for the Philadelphia 76ers in the win, 75-71, versus the Miami Heat. French Ismael Kamagate put in two points, three rebounds, and three blocks helping the Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers, 80-75.
