After one season with the Toronto Raptors, Svi Mykhailiuk will continue his career with another team. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Raptors are waiving the 25-year-old Ukrainian forward, making him a free agent.
In June, Mykhailiuk had exercised his 2022-23 option on his contract with the Raptors to stay with Toronto for another season. It was the second year on a contract he signed with the club in 2021.
During the 2021-22 season, Mykhailiuk averaged 4.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes over 56 regular-season matches.
Right now, Mykhailiuk is preparing for the upcoming EuroBasket with the Ukrainian national team.
