Free agent big man Kostas Antetokounmpo is signing a training camp deal with the Chicago Bulls and will compete for a two-way spot, per the Atletic.
The younger brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo spent three seasons with the Lakers and Mavericks and played for Greece in EuroBasket 2022.
Bulls coach J.B.Bickerstaff has visited Greece during the Acropolis tournament, a preparation tournament before the EuroBasket, and has the chance to see Kostas Antetokounmpo play live.
Last season, Kostas Antetokounmpo played for Tony Parker’s ASVEL in the French league and the EuroLeague averaging 5.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in limited minutes.
Antetokounmpo was drafted 60th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 NBA draft, and his draft rights were then traded to the Dallas Mavericks. He won an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.
