According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, 29-year-old Steven Adams agreed on a two-year, $25.2 million contract extension with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The new Zealander center averaged 6.9 points, 10 rebounds (career-high), and 3.4 assists (career-high) per game in the 2021-22 NBA season, helping his team reach the 2nd seed in the Western Conference.

Another Western Conference big prolonged his contract, as Larry Nance Jr. agreed on a two-year, $21.6 million contract extension with the New Orleans Pelicans, once again according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

This allows the power forward, who averaged 7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in the 2021-22 NBA season, to join his teammates Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum, and Brandon Ingram, among others, on long-term deals.
