Former NBA guard Ben Gordon was arrested in a New York airport for allegedly striking his 10-year-old son. After Gordon’s arrest, the child was taken to a hospital by his aunt for examinations.
According to the New York Post, Gordon’s arrest took place in the LaGuardia airport on Monday and while he was waiting to fly to Chicago. After he allegedly hit his son, airport police stopped him from boarding the flight, cuffed him and proceeded to arrest him. Two officers were injured during the arrest, the New York Post says.
This isn’t the first time Gordon has had trouble with the law. He had previously been arrested on various charges, such as assault and robbery
