Facundo Campazzo will get one more NBA chance, as the player accepted the offer made by the Dallas Mavericks for a one-year deal and he is expected in Texas soon.
Campazzo will play once more alongside Luka Doncic, who was his teammate at Real Madrid. The two of them played together during 2017-18 when the Blancos won the EuroLeague and ACB championship titles.
Campazzo spent two more years with Real after Doncic’s departure and took the torch as the team’s leader. In 2019, he helped the Spanish powerhouse win the ACB while being named Finals MVP.
The Argentinian guard averaged 5.6 points, 3.5 assists, and 1.8 rebounds in 20.1 minutes over 130 regular season games during his two-year stint with the Nuggets.
With Campazzo getting the 15th spot on the Mavericks roster, Dorsey who has a two-way contract remains in danger of being cut before the start of the season, per Eurohoops sources.
